Keslow Camera supplies cameras to the States ever growing film industry. Previously located in Santa Fe, Keslow found that Albuquerque was a better suited home for them and the increasing productions being under taken by the industry along with additional studios being added such as NBC studios and NETFLIX. Keslow has offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Canada, Chicago and other national locations. Taken straight from Keslow’s website and mission statement, they say “Keslow Camera’s vision has never been to be the biggest; we strive to be the best and build life-long relationships with our clients. This pioneering atmosphere creates an energetic and positive employee environment, fostering unparalleled customer service and experience.” This is evident in the projects finishes and build out.
All previous upgrades to the pre-fabricated 6,000 sqft. metal building were removed along with unsightly ground mounted HVAC units on the exterior including inefficient swamp coolers. An unusable solar system was revitalized to provide power in the future. The existing industrial use mezzanines and offices were completely removed with 100% new construction taking place to the client’s specifications. Polished concrete floors were utilized along with custom cabinetry and specialty lighting in the bay areas for the client’s camera focusing equipment to be used properly. 30% of the buildings East side was modified to add in high storefront windows to add natural light and beauty to the work areas. Complete new mechanical, electrical and plumbing services were required for their specific use and installed as well.
