Verus Research, a perennial “Fastest growing” company on many local business lists, expanded their footprint in the Albuquerque market and national defense sector by taking over 80,000 sqft of an old retail store on Hotel circle, completely remodeling it to today’s standards and developing a state of the art research and testing facility in conjunction with the Improve Group and their modular DIRTT wall systems and De-sign Plus Architecture, a blend of traditional commercial construction materials along with modern modular finishes was designed to create a flowing and collaborative work space with break out areas, open space work stations, meeting rooms for clients and a 40,000 sqft research and development facility built to “clean room” standards. A complete re-work of mechanical and electrical systems, all new finishes through-out the spaces and beautifully design and implemented printed wall panels create a soothing and welcoming work environment that today’s work force craves and thrives upon. The research lab was equipped with a specialized “crypt” that helped test their latest product, T.H.O.R., a multi-faceted anti-missile defense system.
